Polishing up your newly acquired ALAN bicycle, rebuilding the bike with new cables and then it happens, one of the guides snaps or you notice that the derailleur cable stopper has a small crack. You tell yourself it’s no big deal and you will find a replacement.
But after 7 years the search still continues…
So here we are
Your mates at Le cycleur
To be honest I had planned to make these 5 or 6 years ago already but never really got to it. the CAD model is finished, the blueprint is ready now there is the question of manufacturing cost. Sintering (3D metal printing) will set us back 25 euros a piece. Unfortunately that isn’t realistic, so we are looking for a company that will make us these tiny bits as we don’t have the tooling required to CNC these in-house.
Once they are in production we will update this blog post and add them to the webshop (if it’s up and running by then)
If you want a set let us know in the comments or via email. Or even better, Facebook:

Hallo,
Ich würde drei Stück brauchen., für meinen Alan Rahmen.
I’d make the purchase of three! I have a beautiful pale blue Alan.
Thanks for the interest, at this moment I’m a bit too occupied with my bachelor thesis, when they are finished I will make an announcement on all our socials (and do an update on the blogpost).
Hi
My name is Gareth Greer and I am based in South Africa. I am in the process of restoring an Alan, and i am desperately looking for some cable guides. The ones on the frame I have are all broken.
Is there any possibility that i could purchase some?
Kind Regards
Gareth Greer
Hi! Yes very soon sadly I’m a bit occupied with school at the moment and I have had to push the deadline forward a couple of times, I hope to have them done by the summer! Production is already halfway.

Keep the good work goin’!
